Sabotaging Case Gain - Misapplication of
OT 2 It is not uncommon for new solo auditors to have some initial trouble
running OT 2. Outside of the Church, solo auditors having difficulty have another problem to contend with - they are descended upon by vultures such as Alan Walter who capitalize on their ignorance of tech. So, we are writing this to help the solo auditor outside of the Church. Alan Walter is an ex-Scientologist and he intends to make an ex-Scientologist out of you. As such, he is a deprogrammer of Scientologists, working to knock you off of the Bridge. In this role he spreads black propaganda on LRH tech. This only works on the untrained. His target public is Scientologists who have out ethics and are ignorant of tech. Instead of handling their out ethics and ignorance of LRH issues, he takes advantage of the situation and fills his own pockets with their money - for fulfilling his Enslaver role of knocking the person off of the Bridge. Here is an example of Alan spreading black propaganda on LRH
tech: Posted by Alan Walter to COSinvestigations on 16 July 2000 - “Fred Hare and a couple of other Saint Hill staff were switched from
GPM processing to Implant Goals Processing, which included the research of
R6EW, the Clearing Course, OT 1, and OT 2. This was disastrous tech.
Almost everyone spun in on it. Then came the introduction of evaluative rundowns...The Clearing Course....OT I, II, III, etc. Imagine my surprise when I found it to be the same stuff as what Horner and I had informed him as not very workable. LRH had become an enforcer of Tech.”
Now, at the time Alan made the above statement I was auditing on OT 3 and getting 40 divisions of TA per hour. I got a similar amount of TA running OT 2. I also went Clear running R6EW and the Clearing Course materials. I had a major win on OT 3 of going totally exterior with full perception and I know many others with similar wins auditing the same processes that Alan says do not work. So, I do not buy Alan’s black propaganda. All LRH tech works. But snake oil salesmen like Alan Walter profit by telling you a lie. They do not apply KSW and find out what the auditor is doing wrong in the session - they blame the technique for lack of results by some auditors. The subject of auditing has two branches - 1. How to Audit The subject of How to Audit is far more important than techniques. The best processes in the world will not work in the hands of a person who does not know How to Audit. Whenever a person is having trouble making case gain on any level, one of these are out: 1. Out ethics - the pc has an out ethics situation he needs to
handle I have handled people having trouble with OT 2 and they all did well
after I helped them. So, following is a hat write up by Mike McClaughry. It is advice only,
not an LRH issue. What OT 2 Handles Since we are writing this for people on OT 2 outside of the Church, you likely have been on the internet and read what OT 3 is about. Well, OT 2 is part of the OT 3 incident. Here is a brief explanation of the OT 3 incident. The incident happened 75 million years ago. As a solution to over population on other planets, inhabitants of those planets were captured, transported to Earth and blown up as a group with nuclear explosions. They were then implanted as part of a group. This incident formed clusters, and that means a group of Beings stuck together who believe they are one Being. OT 2 is running the implant part of the OT 3 incident. An engram is commanded action. It enforces some dramatization with pain. For example, let’s say an engram calls for a man to shoot dogs. If the man refuses to do the dramo of shooting dogs, the pain in the engram turns on to force him to shoot dogs. Aberration is a fixed idea. In our example above, the fixed idea is - I must shoot dogs. An implant gives a thetan fixed ideas or purposes that are enforced by
pain. To be a dog The idea of implanting the opposing fixed idea or purpose - is to create a problem. This is a damned if you do and damned if you don’t situation. If the thetan does the dramo “to be a dog” then he is not doing the dramo of “To not be a dog” and so he gets hit by that pain. If he does the dramo “To not be a dog” then he is not doing the dramo “To be a dog” and so he gets hit by that pain. Either way, he gets pain. The idea is that the thetan will eventually come to a state of
indecision, and do nothing. The line plot of an implant is a list of opposing fixed ideas in the order they were laid in. To be a dog To be a fish Etc. So, the OT 2 materials are the line plots for the implant part of the
OT 3 incident. The OT 3 incident happened in this section of the universe, not in the whole universe. If you were not in this section of the universe 75 million years ago then you do not have the OT 3 incident on your track. But, that does not matter because you are not auditing your track on OT 2 and OT 3. You have a body on planet earth and it has clusters stuck to it. Those clusters do have the OT 3 incident on their track and it is their charge you are handling, not yours. You’re Clear. So, even if you do not have the OT 3 incident on your track, its not evaluation as Alan says, because you certainly have clusters that do have the OT 3 incident on their track. And that represents a lot of charge for those Beings who received the implants that you handle with the OT 2 materials. I got thousands of divisions of TA running OT 2. And that is a lot of charge taken off of the case by running the OT 2 implants. And, if you listen to Alan and do not run out that OT 2 charge on the
Beings stuck in that incident, what a betrayal of those Beings that would
be. You would leave them with a ton of by-passed charge. And since the
Bridge is set up on a gradient, you will bring about failure on later OT
levels. Which is exactly why Alan is trying to get you to not run
it. Auditing OT 2 In the OT 2 materials LRH gives you three tools for discharging the implant line plots. 1. Calling the item over and over - repeater technique Let’s say this is the line plot - To be a dog To be a fish So, you call the item “To be a dog” about 6 times and note the reads. A read would be SF, F, LF or LFBD. Then spot the thetan in the incident about 6 times and note reads. You should get about 25 large reads per item and you continue this until the item goes flat, meaning its no longer reading when you call it. Then you go onto the next item and do the same procedure. If the next item does not read, that means you left charge on earlier items in the line plot and so you go back and call the earlier item again and get the by-passed charge off of it. Then return to the item that would not read and it will now read. The above is the simplicity of running and discharging the OT 2 implants. Now the problem some solo auditors have on OT 2 is they call the item
and get no reads. Here is a quote from HCOB 2 July 1962 Repetitive Rudiments - “If the pc is in session the meter will read. If the pc is partially out, the meter will read poorly…” So, that is the first thing I have the solo auditor check, is if the
rudiments are out. Next is buttons. If a button is out, the read transfers to the button.
Put the button in. Let’s examine the subject of buttons. These are thetan actions. And they are actions the thetan took at the time of the incident. During a painful incident the thetan takes the action to suppress it, invalidate it, not-is it, withdraw from it, etc. So, by putting in buttons in the session, you are spotting the thetan in the incident. Look at it that way. Now, when you restimulate an incident, you restimulate the perceptics of that incident. If you restimulate an incident of getting hit on the leg by a ball bat on a hot day, you will feel the past perceptics of a pain in the leg and heat etc. - in present time. And that is what you are doing when you call an item on the line plot. You have just restimulated the incident and therefore you will feel in present time, the past perceptics that existed in the incident. So, sitting there in the auditing chair calling the item, you start feeling pains, sensations, emotions, and attitudes that existed in the implant incident. By spotting how you feel in present time, you are spotting the thetan in the incident. And by spotting the pains, sensations, emotions and attitudes that you start feeling in present time, as you call the item, you will get reads. You are spotting the thetan in the incident. The way you are feeling in present time, is the same way the thetan felt in the incident. So, lets apply this to the solo auditor who is having trouble getting reads on OT 2. He calls the item and the needle starts to rise. It’s rising now in PT - because the solo auditor feels the sensation of protest turning on. The mistake these auditors make is they think their protest is analytical to what is happening in PT. No - it has nothing to do with PT, the thetan was protesting getting the implant, that’s why you have a sensation of protest in PT. Put in the button of protest and you get a big read and realize that read is charge off the incident because you have just spotted what the thetan was doing in the incident - he was protesting. So, the solo auditor calls the item and he has this sensation of unreality turning on. Well, every painful incident you ever got - what is the first thing you say - this can’t be happening, this is unreal. Spot the attitude that it is unreal and you will get some reads because you are spotting the thetan’s attitude in the incident - he thought it was unreal. So, you call the item and the needle goes stuck. That stuck needle is registering charge. Spot the sensation of the stuck needle and you will get reads because you are spotting the thetan in the incident. Another thing I do is apply the datum on tone arm action - that which blows the tone arm down, will produce tone arm action. If I put in a button and get a big read like a LF or LFBD, I put that same button in again and again until it discharges. I bleed off all the charge I can with that button, I don’t just call it once, get a big read and then leave it. Now, by getting reads on putting in buttons and getting reads by spotting the thetan in the incident by spotting how you feel in PT - you are taking charge off of the implant item. And, as you bleed off the charge on the item by spotting the thetan in the incident, you will start to see reads when you call the item itself. Your meter is now live and reading on the item, whereas it was apparently not reading before. It was reading before, you were just looking at it the wrong way. The needle was registering the charge of the incident by being stuck, etc. You just didn’t recognize it as the charge from the incident and spot it. When you realize that stuck needle is registering charge from the implant incident and spot that, it then discharges and you get your reads. Finally, count all reads you get putting in buttons as reads on the item. When a button is out, the read on the item transfers to the button. So, a read on a button is a read on the item. Count it as such. Between getting reads on the item and getting reads from spotting the
thetan in the incident, you should be getting about 25 big reads per item
before it goes flat. When it goes flat after about 25 big reads, you then
move on to the next item on the line plot. Correct Auditor Beingness Solo auditing poses some problems you don’t have when you audit another thetan with a body. When you are auditing another thetan with a body, you are using your voice to deliver the auditing commands. In solo auditing you are not using your voice, you are using telepathy to deliver the auditing commands to the other thetan you are auditing. So, when you are auditing a thetan with a body, you can think thoughts to yourself that the other Thetan does not hear because he is listening to your voice, not your thoughts. You could sit there and think to yourself, this pc is a jerk, and get away with it, because you did not tell him that with your voice, you only thought it. But, you can’t get away with that in solo auditing, the other thetan is going to hear what you think because you are using telepathy to audit him. Now, because of that, your auditor beingness needs to be perfect in solo auditing. Anything you think will be perceived by the thetan you are auditing. If your TR 0 is out or if your auditor’s code is out, the other thetan you are auditing will perceive that. So, if you sit there as a solo auditor and think this pc is a jerk - that other thetan will hear you think that, and then you are going to have no session because the pc is now ARC broken. TR 0 is to confront the pc with auditing only or with nothing. That means no attitudes. The pc tells you he had sex with an animal. You simply confront the is-ness of it - and acknowledge what he said. You don’t have an attitude its good or bad - it just is, that’s all. That is TR 0. Now, one of the points of the auditor’s code is - I promise not to enter comments, expressions or enturbulence into a session that distract a preclear from his case. Did you know that the E-Meter reads first on the session and second on the pc’s bank? Sit there as an auditor and pound the table with a hammer. The pc’s attention will not be on his bank, it will go on the hammer pounding on the table. Now the meter will read on what the pc’s attention is on, the hammer pounding, not on what is in his bank. You See? Now let’s apply that to the meter not reading on OT 2. We have a solo auditor on OT 2 who has out TRO and is breaking the auditor’s code. The solo auditor is sitting there thinking - this is unreal, this implant did not happen. Well, the thetans you are supposed to be auditing on OT 2 will perceive you thinking that. Now you are entering comments into the session that distract them from their case. And the meter will now read on what you are doing as the auditor, not on their case. And then you will get no reads on the items on the line plot because your preclears are out of session. They now have their attention on the auditor, not on their case. Imagine doing that to a pc with a body, holding the cans. The pc picks up the cans and you tell him we are going to run OT 2. Then you sit there the whole session and tell the pc that this unreal, this implant did not happen. You think that pc is going to be able to discharge OT 2 with the auditor acting like that? No way, forget it. Well, that’s exactly what a solo auditor on OT 2 is doing when he sits there and thinks, this is unreal, this implant did not happen. He has an incorrect auditor beingness and now the process will not work. The meter will now read on the session and not on the pc’s bank, and so you will get no reads on the items on the OT 2 line plots. What has happened here is you have no auditor in the session when the solo auditor acts like that. The solo auditor is not being an auditor, he is being a pc. So, we do not have an auditor and a pc in session, we just have two pcs. That violates the basic principle that makes auditing work - the auditor plus the pc is greater than the pc’s bank. The pc can sit there and say that all he wants, he can originate - this is unreal, this implant did not happen, but the auditor better not agree with it. The auditor should recognize that the pc is just dramatizing the incident, and get the pc through it. Reality is proportional to charge off the case. Of course it’s unreal. Any painful incident is unreal until you discharge it. Discharge the items on the OT 2 line plot and the pc will no longer be sitting there saying - this is unreal and it did not happen. Preclears are always talking out of an incident when they are in session. It is an auditor mistake to think they are talking analytically to you in present time, when in actual fact they are just talking out of an incident. I sat down to audit a pc on a grief chain once and in the middle of the session the pc started telling me “I don’t want to do this.” So, I said to the pc - “repeat that phrase.” So, the pc sat there and said over and over “I don’t want to do this.” And whamo - the engram with that phrase in it appeared and we ran it out. It was a birth engram and the mother was saying in the incident - “I don’t want to do this.” The lesson here is - don’t let your pcs down, get your auditor
beingness correct and get your pcs through the charge of OT 2. There is an
awful lot of charge there and when you discharge it, you will get a lot of
TA off the case, and the pcs will have great wins on it. Quicky OT 2 I’d like to end this with pointing out misapplication of OT 2 and OT 3 by the Church. The Bridge is a gradient. A gradient means you are supposed to master the lower level before going on to the next higher step on the gradient. The key word there is master. When you do not master a lower step on a gradient and then you go on to the higher and harder step, you then fail. You can’t do the higher step because it depends on you being able to do the lower steps well. Some people are doing quicky OT 2 and OT 3 in the church and the reason is security. For false security reasons, the church will not allow them to take the OT 2 and OT 3 materials home. So, people who cannot afford to be away from their jobs for months at a time, have to hurry through OT 2 and OT 3, instead of taking the time to fully discharge those levels. I say the security reasons are false because OT 2 and OT 3 materials have been spread all over the world. The real reason for security was to keep the materials out of the hands of enemies, such as the psychiatrists. Well, those days are over. The enemy already has all of those materials, so the need for security has ended. Today’s security is like closing the barn door after the horse already left the barn. |
