About a month ago you told me in an email that if I tapped the chakras going upward that I could install sharply detailed visualizations. That worked great.
Steve told me this basically:
Pick something that I want. Picture myself doing it over and over until I had a sharply defined almost dreamlike imagery. Work with it through all the senses. Feel it. Taste it. Smell it. See it. Hear it. Be inside it.
Then put it aside briefly and check for an doubts. If those doubts don't pass muster, then clear them. Then go back and work on your visualization until it's like a dream.
At that point dream and tap upwards. Resist it strongly with your body by tensing up and fighting any conscious imagery. Pretty soon you'll have a whole new set of belief systems. A passionate dream, that your unconscious really put together for you. I found it remains at the gut level and doesn't have that cognitive flavor to it that some creation processes do.
Breathe through left nostril only and tap 50 times on gamut spot. Keep the breathing up until the left nostril becomes dominant. The right nostril will be partially swollen shut. This breathing comes from ancient India and has more recently been written about by E.Rossi.
Always allow or permit your imagery to build.
Bright yellow elephant! See you know your visualizing system works. Ever been to a horror movie where someone has just stepped into a closet with a monster? The door closed. What did you experience?
Allowing and permitting are key ingrediants. There is no forcing, just letting it occur. Your unconscious will provide you all you require. If you've ever daydreamed then you can do this play.
Can you relax further and permit your awareness to form any image it desires? Anything Can your allow this image to turn bright...then dim...larger. Then smaller. colorful. Black and white. Vivid. Blurred...Close by. Far off. can the object move from right to left. Turn it into video. Flat slide. Speed up the image. Slow it down. make it move vertically or horizontally. Bright in some areas. Fuzzy in other. Can you look down at it. Can you look up at it? To it's side? Can you see it through your eyes? Can you look at you from it? Can you look at both you and it? Can you allow it to vanish and return? Split screen it. Can you frame the image. Make it wide angle. change it's height, width. Tilt. Spin the image then reverse the spin. Give it graininess. Picture each granualation. Make the image transparent. Opaque. Blink it on and off. Stobe it. Slowly then quickly. Observe it's shadows. Change it's symetry. label the image with printing. Gothic printing. Scrawled handwriting. An embossed label. Label it heaven. Label it Hell. Label it bugs. Label it sweet. Label it sickenly sweet. Label it "just is". Can you allow the image to change shape. magnify parts. Shrink them down. Alter the texture. Hear sounds now. Any sounds. Tempo of sound. Pitch. lower volume. Raise volume. Continuous. Interrupted.. It becomes words. Is it a voice coming from you? A voice coming from nearby. Far away? Faint? Can you hear many sounds? Can you separate the sounds. Are the sounds in your awareness? Is your awareness in the sounds? Can you hear the sounds changing position with eachother. With you. Are they clear? A larger number of sounds. small number of sounds. Is the sound monaural. Stereo?. Multi-tracked? Holophonic? Can you create a feeling in your body. Where is it located? Move the location. make it strong pressure. weak. Experience it on the surface of your skin. Deep in your bones and muscles. Texture.. Rough. Course. Grainy. Smooth. wavy. Hot. Cold. More than two feelings. Feel them further apart. Closer to gether. Intensify them. Weaken them. Move them around. Allow the feelings to be continuous. Make pauses in them. Is there a rhythm in the feeling. Can you detect a smell. strong or weak. Come and go. More than one smell. Smell fresh. sour. old pungent. Far away. close by. Putred. salty. fading. Not recognizable. Identifiable. Can you taste something. Strong. Weak. Does it come and go? more than one taste. Salty. Sweet. Overpowering. burning. Cool like menthol. Taste stay in one place or move around. Can you allow yourself to be any imaginary object you chose? Can you feel it's feelings, what it hears, what it sees, what it tastes, what it smells. Can you imagine it's thoughts. Can you imagine its memories. Cany you say what it says. Can you see what it sees. Can you feel what it feels. Can you smell what it hears? Can you feel what it thinks? Can you taste what it touches? Can you hear what it sees? Allow your practice to develop over time. Add on to this what turns you on.
