Just ask him several times, "Feel the chair, Good. Put your hand on the chair. All right, now feel that. Good. What is that? It's a chair. Okay. Let's feel the floor beneath your feet. Okay, how far away is that wall from in front of you? Okay, let's feel this chair again." You probably in a very short course of time would have saved several lives. Commands "Feel the floor beneath your feet." "Feel the chair." "Put your hand on the chair." "Feel that. Good. What is that?" "Play, feel the floor beneath your feet." "Okay, how far away is the ceiling?" "All right, how far away is that wall from in front of you?"
