Creation of Human Ability

Description

The psychotic (a person who does not have enough attention in present time to be able to act rationally) appears to be in such desperate straits that the processor often errs in thinking desperate measures are necessary. Use the lightest possible methods. Give case space and freedom where possible. Get him to tell the difference between things by actual touch. Have him locate, differentiate, and touch things that are really real to him (real objects or items). If inaccessible, mimic him with own body, whatever he does, until he comes into communication.

Commands

Step 1: Get him to tell the difference between things by actual touch. Ask him to touch as object in the room. When he has done that, ask him to touch another object in the room. Then ask him to tell you the difference between those two objects. Run this step until flat.

Step 2: Have him locate, differentiate and touch things that real reallly real to him (real objects or items).

    "Find something that is really real to you in this room."

    "Thank you."

    "Walk over to it and touch it."

    "Thank you."

    Run this step until flat.

End Point

Run the process until a realization occurs, or an ability is regained.

Cautions

Work him for very brief periods, for his attention span is short. Always work psychotics with another processor or companion present.
