Many students have been or are engaged in technical professions outside of Scientology such as engineering, computer programming, architecture etc., and you would need a glossary or dictionary of the terms involved in these technologies.
Foreign Words— Get a Dictionary of that Language
There are two kinds of foreign language dictionaries. One is a dictionary entireiy in the foreign language. The other is the Engiish/foreign language dictionary, in which one haif of the dictionary is English words with the foreign word next to it, and the other haif is the foreign word with its English counterpart next to it. You would use the ali foreign dictionary only with a person who knew that language fluently.
You use a dictionary. li is always a misunderstood word, never a concept or idea.
	
In learning the meaning of words small dictionaries are very often a greater liability than they are a help.
The meanings they give are often circular: Like "CAT: An Animal." "ANIMAL: A Cat." They do not give enough meaning to escape the circie.
The meanings given are often inadequate to get a real concept of the word.
The words are too few and even common words are often missing.
HUGE dictionaries can also be confusing as the words they use to define are often too big or too rare and make one chase through twenty new words to get the meaning of the original.
