What is a Checksheet
The "checksheet" is a Scientology deveiopment in the field of study
A checksheet is a iist of materials, often divided into sections, ti give the theory and praçtical steps which, when completed, give om study compietion. The items are selected to add up to the requir knowiedge of the subject. They are arranged in the sequence necess to a gradient of increasing knowledge of the subject. After each it there is a piace for the initial of the student or the person checking t student out. When the checksheet is fuily initialed it is compie meaning the student may now take an exara and be granted the awa for completion.
lhe data of the course is studied and the drills peiformed in t order given on the checksheet. lhe student does not "jump around" study the material in some other order. lhe materiais are set out the checksheet in the best order for study by the student so that covers ali the material on a proper gradient.
Further, foilowing the exact order of the checksheet has disciplinary function which assists the student to study.
lhe student's initiai beside an item is an attestation that he kno in detaii AND can apply the material contained in that bulieti poiicy letter or tape, or that he has done and can do that driil.
"lhrough a checksheet" means through the entire checksheet theory, practicai, ali drilis---- and done in sequence.
