                First of allĦ would like to wish you ah very happy hol­days1 and extend my postulate that
              you ah have a prosperous and happy New Year.
         
                Unfortunately, 1 wasn't able to attend the convention this year, and since ­ have been
              questioned by a few people as to why ­ wasn't there, 1 wou Ħd like to g­ve you ah an
              expianation, and let you know that it was because of personal reasons, which1 while they
              are no-body else's business, 1 wiil communicate to set this straight.
         
                This might be a little long, so 1 appreciate your interest in hearing this from me.
         
                As sorne of you might know, 1 have had sorne personal problems'during the past few
              years - the separation from my ex-wife, Marisa - litigation with her1 after giving her most of
              what 1 owned, for custody of my three chudren, which ­ won two years ago - litigation with
              the CoIX, etc.
         
                As weil1 because my ex has teamed up with the Cof)<, 1 have had other litigation and
              attacks which made it necessary for me to close my business over ~ y~ars ago, and 1
              ended up with the three kids to whom 1 have to be both father and rn?ther v\O income to
              speak of, and a lot of debts.
         
                Marisa has made allegations refering to CBR, myself and the FZ which ai;e untme, but
              which allack directly the integrity of CBR and myseif. The CoIX have used her as a "shield",
              as welI as a means to litigate against me, having brought charges aga­nst me in the past,
              with the Cof>( suing me on "her" behalf.
         
                Most of this has been handĦed by persistance on my part - ­ have now reestablished my
              business, my three daughters are with me and happy, and 1 have a new 2-D with whom 1
              intend to marry as soon as my divorce is final, and a new son 11/2 years oĦd right now.
         
                Last summer, when the QTC meeting took place,  y o­dest daughter became acutely iii
              and 1 was forced to take her to the emergency ward at the hospital and to take care of her
              for the next cou pie of weeks. Fortunately, her condition got handĦed completely, and that
              turned out fine.
         
                This fail, because of my economic situation, 1 was unable to attend. 1 was preparing for a
              sales trip to the US, and could not spare the time nor did 1 have the funds to spend the
              weekend in France, much as l would have liked to have done so.
         
                Now1 this has nothing to do with my not wanting to wear my hat, nor not wanting to
              participate with the group, or anything like that, which 1 have heard was suggested by some
              as why l wasn't there. 1 think that sorne people don't even have a clue as to what my hat is,
              or has been in the FZ - but the important thing 5 that you should know that 1 haven't
              dropped my hats in the FZ.
