It is far from complete, but we thought that the reader would like to have a least a little background information on the author of Psychic First Aid. As she explains it, "Psychic First Aid" was first written "...when I was a full time counsellor and people would ring me on the phone and want first aid. One day when someone rang to ask me what I had told her a week ago so she could pass it on to a friend, I had forgotten it, so she suggested that I write everything I told others. So I did and it grew." Now retired as a teacher, flight instructor, full time cousellor and business owner, her interest still remains spiritual. She is well rooted in the philosophy and practical application of clearing methods and has continued to personally strive for a deeper understanding of life and living. Muriel continues to be active in the clearing field, and to "listen to others and ask a question should it appear optimum to do so." Living in the natural bushlands of Tasmania among the wombats, wallabies and echidna, see has come to understand and appreciate the concept that "we create our own reality". Muriel may be contacted at muriel@senet.com.au If, as the need arises, the reader may need more than the processes contained within "Psychic First Aid", Muriel may be contacted Out of that growth, Muriel has "...realised that one teaches what one needs to learn, so I am learning.". Muriel has retired as a teacher, counsellor, flight instructor and business owner, but she is still willing to offer her assistance as the need arises. Muriel's background includes being an auditor and C/S both within and without a formal structured organization until she realized that all others were not wrong. This came about from becoming immersed within the pride and arrogance of a percieved status. Out of this grew a basis of understanding rooted in the phrase, "we create our own reality". Taking responsibility for the effects that surrounded her, she began to realize that what it is we teach others, is that which we most need to learn ourselves. Over the course of time, this too ran it's course At one stage I thought I was a good auditor and a good C/S and a good scientologist. Then I started realizing that being good in the confines of a cult was compromising my reality and my ethics and harming others. I became a good auditor and C/S outside the org and then realised that all others were not wrong. I thought I had achieved a lot personally as I had gone all the way on the bridge. I was teaching the course the Mark Jones was teaching amongst other things and realised that one teaches what one needs to learn so I am learning. I am letting go of pride and arrogance that I unwittingly used thinking it was status and seeing more and more that I create my own reality. I am really seeing anything at all that I resist in me and see that I have caused it rather than knowing it theoretically. All that I caused others and was ignorant of in my desire to "do the right thing" comes to my experience on the other flow and I am taking responsibility and letting it go. The younger me would be horrified that I say this after all I have done and all I have taught. anyway- I retired as a teacher and then retired as a flying instructor and retired as a full time counsellor and teacher with my own business and am now learning. I am also taking photographs as a hobby and working with the material in my booklet and with the Buddhist way and any other than seems to be right at the moment. I wrote that little book when I was a full time counsellor and people would ring me on the phone and want first aid. One day when someone rang to ask me what I had told her a week ago so she could pass it on to a friend I had forgotten it so she suggested that I write everything I told others. So I did and it grew. So the book is for Dora who really creates life now. Then I added the basic processes I was using and if someone needs more than that they can contact me and I give what they may be able to use. (I had one client recently who wanted straight Scientology so I studied it all up again and began. It really is designed to be used in an org when the person does not have the self control not to dramatise madly on all around them and life gets ahead of auditing. Not easy to be ethics officer examiner C/S and auditor) I live in Tasmania now in a wooden house on poles over the rocks in some natural bushland and the possums have become tame and the potteroos and wallabies keep the grass short and now and again I see the echidna or the quoll or the wombats. native hens have a call like squeaky wheels and the large copperhead and tiger snakes are quite gentle when respected. They visit the area around the house only about once or twice a year. Outside my office in a bowl the blue wrens dance and bathe and all the other tiny birds have a turn too. I can still fly and still work as an artist at times. I illustrated a book and am creative with my photography. I still listen to others and ask a question should it appear optimum to do so. What would others want to know about me? love Muriel ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Misiunas" To: "Muriel Chen" Sent: Wednesday, January 10, 2001 7:28 AM Subject: Re: Psychic First Aid
