CONE Trip #3

(The Cutting & Editing Room and the "Hole in the floor")

Last night I allowed the "Importance (Past) List" to just roll to get the next trip into the Hyper-Cone. Trips 1 & 2 had been, postulates of "wanting to have a TTA-LTA comparison record" (made in Contingecy Briefing 1936-38 on M-ship) and "wanting to know the real reason behind the underground atomic tests" (made only a few months to a year ago). In Cone Trip # 2 there had been an initial entrance to the cone and some 25% of the time of sleep not accounted for - I didn't recall it. So I supposed this would come up in Cone Trip # 3.


On "waking" today, I knew 90% of what had occurred during "sleep". This was a repeated scene. with variations, many times of getting to DK from Germany in time for the OT Convention and then returning with no problem and thus foiling the enemy plans. Also some variations of "being there" while not being there - by conference telephone - video tape - cassette, or OT ability. When I analyzed this I realized the following:

  1. it was not as "experiencable" as the Cone Trips 1 & 2.
  2. It was an event that had not happened yet.
  3. There was no LTA parallel for it as there was no Free Zone Scn Bridge LTA.
  4. But it was important to me.
  5. And I had worked on it while awake and already had considered most of the possibilities.

Then I decided to write it up anyway and had the consideration that it really was not a Cone Trip as the Cone is a record of experiences that already had happened.

At that moment the whole "memory" of the sleep experience seemed to go through a "hole in the floor" of my CVP and disappear AND FOR THE NEXT HOUR I COULD NOT RECALL WHAT IT WAS ABOUT! I lay there knowing only that I had had a 90% recall and now the subject was gone! I assessed the Dynamics, persons, places, subjects, interests, etc. thoroughly and could not "remember'' what it was that I had just know for sure when I woke up!

I then tried to re-enter the U - ¥ Cone space and get it back. I did re-enter but couldn't find it. I tried to recall if I had "pulled the string" and maybe taken the "black thread" bookmark out of it, thus making it vanish from memory. That didn't get any result either. I then finally looked at a vague feeling I had that "maybe it wasn't important". Slowly I got back to it by finding what wasn't important and what wasn't valuable about it. I even asserted that the "Cone Research" was valuable so that the data should come to view so I could write it up for the Games Basics.

Finally I got it by first recalling it was a 1, 2, 1, 2, type experience going over and over various possibilities. Then I looked at what I had planned to do in the future and finally I got it. The area was important to the Free Zone, and it was of interest on how to be there as a qn while not being there as a body. And it did have to do with improvement of the Expansion Game so it was very interesting - so why did it "go down the hole"? And why was it different?


Now I realized that.

  1. The sleep experience (90%) was not in the Cone..

  2. it was more like Sleep Option # 4 (Planning Futures) as it had not occurred yet and was being "tested" for various possibilities of action.

  3. That point of my consideration had caused it to vanish through the "hole".

  4. The reason it disappeared was that for that instant it had no importance in my Cone Trip Research And only after an hour's work and asserting that it was important to up for the record, did it finally become available.

  5. This area of "trying on futures" is like a filmmaker's "cutting and editing" room and the parts not to be in the film are thrown in a waste can on the floor. But where do they go?

  6. Then I had the "big cog".

  7. WHILE I WAS EXPERIENCING THIS CONE RESEARCH THE TIME, PLACE, FORM, AND EVENT OF IT WAS BEING PUT IN RECORD FORM ON THE CONE (AS IT WAS ACTUALLY HAPPENING) AND THE "HOLE IN THE FLOOR OF MY CVP" WAS THE ENTRANCE POINT FOR "DATA THE PLAYER HAS FINISHED WITH" SO IT COULD BE PUT IN ITS PLACE ON THE CONE TO GIVE ALL THE "FLESH-OUT" OR "BODY" TO THE EXPERIENCE.

(Nothing is ever wasted it seems, all the "cone" experiences have incredible amounts of detail and all perceptics.)

  1. From this, I realized how we (Players) make the Hyper-Cone: As we discard things of no value or importance (all perceptics, ideas, etc), they go down the "hole" in the floor of the CVP and are recorded on the cone. This allows players to work only with "operational" data and not have to "know everything all the time".
  2. When something is discarded which later is considered valuable or important, it can always be retrieved (at least by a person who does not have a "case" or is confused by aberration and practicing not-is. suppress, and invalidate.)

  3. Example: You are talking to someone you really are interested in. You can easily recall the data (for a while) of the conversation. But the 57 perceptics data surrounding it in the environment (color of the wallpaper, movement of the clock hands, shift of sunlight patterns on the wall, street noises, etc.) are at the same time given lesser or no importance. They go "down the hole" to be put on the Cone.

Later in your life, you suddenly have a need to know what the person said in that conversation about something that has become important to you.

You try to recall it out can't. Only the "fact" that you talked to him in his room in Los Angeles can be recalled. You "sleep on it". When you wake, the answer is there. During the "sleep", you went to Option # 8, re-experienced the conversation - or that part of it - discarded all the same data that was unimportant before and only "remember" what has now become important when you "wake up".

(Note: This explains how TECH gets lost also, the IMPORTANCES are not evaluated properly so go down the "hole".)

  1. So what is the importance of the "Hyper Cone"? What is its "value"? "IT IS THE PLAYING FIELD, WITHOUT WHICH, GAMES CANNOT OCCUR WITH INTELLIGENCE, INTEREST, AND IMPROVEMENT IN THEM".

If it wasn't there, the Statics or Players would probably be a LOT more powerful as an incredible lot of perceptic energy (U - MOCOs?) is tied up in it! But also they would be "Gameless" to that degree. is there an Ethical, Technical, Administrative and Aesthetic handling for this? Yes, a Static can, of course, take back all the functions he needs and values and importances and AS-IS the rest. Just as in handling U 0 in the Super-Static R/D!

  1. The basic Pre-Logic to Games is: A SAME CANNOT EXIST WITHOUT A PLAYING FIELD. (The "base of the motor" which delivers the power and interchange - in LRH Lectures).

From all this, a tentative program can be drawn up to get awareness of and experience the "Cone" and end any incomplete cycles with it:

  1. The "Hypercube" of the Games Series issues must be run out as a prerequisite (the U + ¥ area).

  2. The player lists any importances of data, subjects, events persons, places, times, forms, events he may be interested in to improve his playing or gamesmanship.

  3. He should realize there are also some not on the list from former postulates to know, intentions, importances, etc.

  4. Each sleep period, he can consciously decide to "handle the backlog" by order of importances and visit the Hyper-Cone to do so.

  5. On awakening, he should recall all he can and write it down in his "auditing report" or "experience report" of "Cone Trips" or "Sleep Option Experiences".

  6. This will probably go "flat" when the list is finished. (At. the level of Games Master, this won't take too long. A person below that level would just keep running into his "case".)

  7. When 100 % recall of "sleep time" is obtained (and the "urge towards" or "interest in" the Sleep Option # 8 is flat) and all Options understood and under control by own-determinism the Hyper-Cone can be run.

    (it can be run before the above is all complete, but that is up to you.)

  8. Run the following:

    What is the value of the ____________________?

    (Tell about it.)

    What is the importances of the ____________________?

    (Tell about it.)

    (Use "Hyper-Cone", "Games Record Area", Universe "minus infinity", "U - ¥ Playing Field", or what best describes the Cone area to you in the commands.)

  9. After the above process (which will flatten out to a no.more-answers, no-more-interest EP after lots of blowoffs and sizzling MOCOs, and as-is-ness of the persons Hyper-Cone) one does the Blow steps - B & C - only till all MOCOs from the Hyper-Cone and "Hole in the CVP" are freed or return.

  10. Then ask: "What did I have to give up to go into agreement with the Hyper-Cone?"

    This will usually EP very fast with the Return of the Ability to choose one's own Games. The 3rd Right of a qn.

Note: The "Value-importance" Process (Step 8) is a Super Power process to handle something the qn knows he should handle but at the same time "can't give it up" or "wants to keep it". it handles, so to speak, the EXISTING CONDITION that a person knows about and is holding on to by his own desire or mast postulate or agreement.
